＂涼　無雨＂

因為通往上帝的路不可知，

Because the paths to the Lord are inscrutable.



因為祂的話語與神秘，蘊含了神寬恕的本質。

And the essence of His forgiveness lies in His word and in His mystery.







因為即使上帝傳遞給我們的訊息，

Because although God sends us the message,



仍是我們必須解讀。

It is our task to decipher it.







因為當我們展開雙臂，

Because when we open our arms,



大地收容的只是空虛不實的軀殼。

the earth takes in only a hollow and senseless shell.



靈魂已在遙遠、永恆的光輝。

Far away now is the soul in its eternal glory.







因為只有在痛苦能發現生命的意義，

Because it is in pain that we find the meaning of life.



以及一出生即失去的恩典，

And the state of grace that we lose at our birth.







因為上帝以祂無窮智慧，

Because God, in His infinite wisdom,



將答案置於我們雙手，

puts the solution in our hands.







因為只有在祂實體的不存在，

And because only in His physical absence



能再確定祂在我們靈魂的存在。

is the place He occupies in our souls is reaffirmed.
